Panorama Week – John Lennon Wall, Prague October 20th, 2008
This photo isn’t technically a panorama because I kept moving my shooting position down the length of the wall. I wanted to take in all the detail so I ended up gauging 10 feet or so and adjusting every couple steps. It didn’t turn out perfectly, but it’s a good representation of the enormity of the living mural. After combining all the images, the final file size was over a gigabyte. Since this photo is so tiny on the even the blog’s wide layout, I’ve also uploaded a slightly larger version here. For more information on the wall itself check out this link.

John Lennon Wall is the nicest on the everyyear anniversary of J.L. death – people gather by the wall and sing the whole evening songs by the Beatles, drink wine, enjoying themselves… An interesting thing is, like 7 years ago a group of skinheads came with door breakers and scratched the wall to the extent it needed to be repaired and painted white. But people remade it again
